Waited to deploy SQL Server 2012 until Service Pack 1 was released? Then held off because Service Pack 1 did not include important updates from Cumulative Update #3 and Cumulative Update #4? You're running out of reasons to procrastinate! The SQL Server team has released CU #1 for Service Pack 1, which should include all of the fixes from CU #3 & CU #4, as well as some others.

  • KB article: KB #2765331
  • Build # is 11.0.3321
  • I count a whopping 44 fixes!

Relevant for builds 11.0.3000 -> 11.0.3320. Do not attempt to install on SQL Server 2012 RTM (any build < 11.0.3000) or any previous version.

Isn't their release strategy a little bit a mess ? SP1 required SP1 for VS2010 afterwards, otherwise SQL Management Studio wouldn't start anymore.

Hi – I have just downloaded this update because it's supposed fix an issue with SSRS Date/Time.
However I also have SP1 install for my SQL 2012 server yet – it doesn't fix the Date/Time issue.
Should I apply this CU 5 – Will it help fix the issue?
    Thanks
