A new era begins : Welcome, Kevin Kline, to SQL Sentry!

It is with great pleasure that I welcome Kevin Kline to his new role as Director of Engineering Services at SQL Sentry. In Internet terms, Kevin and I go "way back." We've been at several MVP Summits together, of course, as well as various PASS-related and other community events – one as far away as Sweden – and even spent a week together on a SQL Cruise. I've always enjoyed our conversations and have long considered him a friend — even while working for directly competing companies over the past two years.

Kevin brings fantastic experience and know-how to bolster our strong team, along with a reputation for community involvement that is seldom matched. I look forward to the positive contributions he will make to our company and the influence he will continue to have on me both personally and professionally.

Welcome, Kevin!

I am a passionate technologist with industry experience dating back to Classic ASP and SQL Server 6.5. I am a long-time Microsoft MVP, write at Simple Talk, SQLPerformance, and MSSQLTips, and have had the honor of speaking at more conferences than I can remember. In non-tech life, I am a father of two, a huge hockey and football fan, and my pronouns are he/him. If I've helped you out, consider thanking me with a coffee. :-)
